TPT METHLICK DUATHLON
RACE INFORMATION

Three Peaks
Triathletes are again holding the Methlick Duathlon on Sunday
6th November 2011.
The event will be based in the Primary School at Methlick.
There is ample car parking available, with registration in
the Schoo, where toilet facilities are available.
Showers are provided post-race in the sports field pavilion.
Following
the race briefing at the Primary school (transition area)
the whole field will proceed into Methlick village for the
race start at the start of the old railway line, as in previous
years.
Registration is from 09.00 to 10.00, with the start at
10.15. After the race, stovies will be available at the
Ythanview
Hotel,
where the prize-giving will take place at approx. 12.15.
The first run (5k) is an out and back course on the forest
road to Gight Castle (may be muddy/ puddles). MAP A.
The bike course (18k) is a circular route around the Haddo
estate on country roads. MAP B.
The final run (3k) is also on a country road. MAP C.
